Kick off as a freelance consultant

As of April 1st, I’m starting a new professional chapter while sticking to my roots: I’ll be working as a freelancer.

At the same time, this is not a goodbye from INNOQ and Socreatory: 

  • I will continue my long-standing partnership with INNOQ as a Fellow. I’m excited to continue working with INNOQ clients and colleagues. 

  • I’ll keep delivering trainings via Socreatory, all commitments remain.

This step gives me the freedom to explore new opportunities – while staying close to the people at INNOQ and topics that have shaped my journey so far. I’ll be offering consulting, workshops, and training, and I’m especially excited to bring my experience into new contexts focusing on what I love most: Domain Driven Design, Sociotechnical Architectures, Team Topologies, Software Architecture and Collaborative Modeling.

In addition to that I am looking forward to a closer collaboration with my friend and highly appreciated source of many inspirations: Susanne Kaiser. We will work together, join some efforts and collaborate more than we did before while being independent freelancers.

Michael works as an independent tech consultant with 20+ years of experience specialized in Domain Driven Design, Team Topologies, Software Architecture and Collaborative Modeling. He is a regular speaker at international conferences and an author. Michael is also an INNOQ Fellow and Team Topologies Advocate.
